Last year Asus had introduced its All-in-one gadget in a Computer trade fail in Taipei, Taiwan. But till date not much was known about it, but not anymore. Asus has unveiled all the mysteries and has announced price with specifications today and conformed the date the device will be on the shelves for sale.
The screen is 18.4inches with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The resolution is 1920x1080p with a multi-touch screen. The price is $1299.
Transition between tablet and PC station
In the tablet mode it will be running on the Android 4.1 OS, Nvidia processor Tegra3, 2GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory with the forms of connectivity like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is supported by 1MP camera, a docking port a headphone jack, and Micro SD cards to expand the memory.
But the same thing can have a transition to the PC to make it run either on Intel Core i3, i7 or i5 processor. The RAM will be 8GB with 2TB of space in hard drives. It will be supporting Bluetooth and USB. In this stage, it will work with Windows 8.
It is still early to comment which stage will be more preferable, but Asus has surely made itself to the headlines with this device.
