Foxconn had previously released an interesting type of pc on which they called the nano PC. It is rather small in size and in fact, it is much smaller than the Mac Mini as well. The price tag of it is interesting because although initially Foxconn had announced that it would be price on sub-$200, none of its two variants would be priced like that because the starting price of this nano PC is at $260.
Foxconn boasts that their nano PC is up to 40 times smaller than the normal PC. For the types of products, there are two variants of it which are the AT-5250 and AT-5600. The AT-5250 will make use of Intel Atom processor with Intel Integrated Graphics inside but the AT-5600 will make use of AMD technology instead. The one being inserted in the AT-5600 is the AMD E450 with the AMD Radeon HD 6320.
The AT-5250 is available for $260 while the AT-5600 is $20 more expensive at $280. Both devices will have USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet ports, HDMI and VGA and a few others. Although it might not be very powerful, it simply works and that is the beauty of it. Hopefully that whatever Foxconn is trying to show here will be a continuous effort instead of a one-time thing.
