In Fuzhou, fake version of the recently launched next generation Apple Smartphone iPhone5 was seized by Chinese officials after it was found that these forged phones sold in the market violated Cupertino’s trademark.

Xinhua, Chinese news agency reported that 61 such forged devices were taken in custody by the law enforcement officers during a surprise inspection carried out at shops. These devices tagged as iPhone5 incorporates features like GPS navigation, dual SIM and dual Standby property. This fake variety of phone sold widely in China was priced US$47.
As reported by Xinhua, the phone trader told the officials that the fake handset is the most recent and excellent among all the iPhones and the casing material, texture as well as operating system are designed after the Apples Smartphone gadget (iPhone5). The phone has the American Company’s logo printed on its back providing it 90% resemblance with the original Apple iPhone5. He also informed that the mobile phones are supplied from Shenzen and on detailed cross analysis of the device officers discovered that the handset and packing box did not carry any information regarding the manufacturer or about the license label/ serial number.
And yes these devices look alike Original
The authorities confirmed that these fake mobile phones physically appeared very similar to the original devices but showed up inferior functionality. It displayed slow touch screen response and poor picture quality due to inbuilt low resolution camera.
Resources reported earlier that many fake Apple stores have been revealed in Chinese cities and two such stores in Kunming were shut down in July when it was discovered that they lacked appropriate business licenses.
