Halo 4 is to be the latest installment in the Halo franchise developed by 343 Industries on Microsoft’s Xbox platform. Halo 4 will follow the return of the Master Chief after 4 years following the events in Halo 3. Announced on June 4 last year, a worldwide release has been set for November 6 this year.
The Limited Edition Release
These 320 GB gaming gadgets themed on Halo 4 will cost $399 and will include two controllers, a wired headset, the Halo 4 game and some Xbox Live offers related to the game. Microsoft said that the limited edition would be a ‘perfect celebration’ of the return of the main protagonist, the Master Chief.
At Comic-Con, Microsoft and 343 Industries also announced another Halo 4 Xbox 360 wireless controller. The controller will come with a UNSC logo and will sport a grey translucent design. An Avatar T-shirt and blue light-ring are also on the cards. The standalone controller will cost $59.99 and will be released earlier on October 21.
