ICS updates for Nexus S on Sprint

1

It is about time that the Ice Cream Sandwich Android update is made official by Sprint and the time is now. Nexus S owners can now rejoice because the phone will soon be getting over-the-air Ice Cream Sandwich update from the Sprint network. This is a wait that a lot of people have been waiting for because the operating system has been around for quite some time and there are already a lot of devices that have support for it already.

There was already a leaked version of this operating system a week ago and anxious users had already downloaded and tried that particular version on their Nexus S device. Nonetheless, it only took a week before the leaked version of the operating system is replaced by an officially supported version.

Ice Cream Sandwich is richer in terms of features as compared with any other Android operating systems. Some of the things that it has include Android Beam NFC support, some camera enhancements, facial unlocking features and a lot more. It is certainly a more versatile version of Android that many people would certainly want to get their hands on. However, there are still a lot of devices that do not support the newer version of Android.
