Currently, the world’s thinnest phone is currently the Ascend P1 S by Huawei although that title might not be the company’s in the near future. This is because another China based company called Oppo will be announcing a new device which is said to be the world’s thinnest phone. This new contender to the thinnest profile competition is the Oppo Finder.
While the Ascend P1 S has a sleek profile of 7.6mm, the Oppo is even sleeker with the thickest part of 6.65mm. This makes it almost a millimetre thinner than its predecessor. To make it thin, there are a few things that the manufacturer had to do. One of it is to add a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen which is a lot thinner as compared with the usual LCD screens.
As far as the specification is concerned, the Oppo Finder will have a 1.5GHz dual-core processor although further information about it is unknown. As for the camera, you will find that the Finder have a main camera of 8 megapixel and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. The price tag of it is $631 without contract and this makes it quite an expensive phone. Nevertheless, it shows what the future holds when it comes to smartphones.
