I invite you to meet the Nokia 500, the first Smartphone in Finland with 1 GHz processor. We didn’t expect to see soon some Nokia devices with such a process, but certainly we didn’t expect a Smartphone. Moreover, who thought that the manufacturer will change again the taxonomy of its phones.
The present phone known only in rumors as the code Fate, is very close to 5250 and could actually be a C5-00 or X5-00. Its dimensions are similar to those of 5230, Nokia 500 is 1.5 mm thin and 2 mm wider than the former Smartphone. Below is a list of the most important features of this mobile phone.
Display: 3.2″, 360×640, capacitive
Operating system: Symbian^ 3 Anna
Processor: 1 GHz
Memory: 2 GB internal, microSD slot
3G: HSUPA 5.8 Mbps
Camera: 5 MP
Other features and prices tell us that Nokia 500 is an accessible device. The camera can shoot HD and has no flash, there is support for Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11n, without taxes the cost of the terminal will be 150€. Interchangeable caps are included in the package and the white version of the phone is expected at the end of this year.
In terms of construction, the Nokia 500 has a very minimalist aspect. On the ride side we will find buttons, i.e. the volume and to unlock the screen. We do not have a trigger for the camera on the back. The MicroUSB connector, headphone jack and power button are located on the upper side. Nokia 500 will be available in the third quarter of this year.
