The day for Windows Phone 7 has come to an end and today marks the release of its successor, the Windows Phone 8. One of the first few devices that will be making its way to the market is no other than the Nokia Lumia 920. It is a rebranding of the Nokia Lumia 900 with a lot more improvements and some very powerful innards as well. Combine with the stability of the operating system and you get a device that is as fast as those quad-core competitors.
The Nokia Lumia 920 will be sporting a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display along with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. In addition to that, the battery capacity is of 2,000 mAh which means that you are having some powerful battery life as well. NFC capability is turned on by default and while you’re not getting any PureView based cameras, its 8MP camera is also deemed sufficient by most people’s standards as well.
The Nokia Lumia 920 will come with Windows Phone 8 natively and most of the applications available in the marketplace can be used on the device. This phone will be made available some time on Q4 2012 although there is no telling yet about its pricing.
