Gadgets world is being teased with images of supposed to be Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Duos. It may be recalled that the market was enlightened about Samsung’s intention to introduce Galaxy S6 along with a variant that is dual SIM. Of course, the relevant information was obtained surreptitiously. The new images show that the device has two card slots for nano-SIMs.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos
Samsung plans to introduce both Galaxy S6, as well as Galaxy S6 Edge, sometime in April, 2015. These products will be launched simultaneously across the globe. Rumors about the dual SIM version of Galaxy S6 first appeared at the start of March. The report appeared in Philippines and it mentioned two Nano-SIM supporting device. The rumor also said that there would be just one slot for 4G LTE. In the absence of any confirmation or denial from Samsung, the market has christened the dual-SIM version of Galaxy S6 as Galaxy S6 Duos.
A Russian retailer uploaded the images of this device with its identification numbers as SM-G920. The images were uploaded last week. Apart from the 2 SIM slots, the device also has 5.1 inch display, which is Quad HD. The retailer also mentioned that the device would have storage of 64 GB. The golden version of Galaxy S6 Duos is priced around $893. Latest photos of the model differ from those shown on the website of this online Russian retailer.
Galaxy S6 Specifications
Specifications of Galaxy S6, as well as Galaxy S6 Duos, are alike. This means the processor inside the device is Exynos 7 (octa-core). Likewise, the device would have a RAM of 3GB and battery of 2550 mAH. The rear camera would be 16 MP whereas the camera in front would be of 5 MP. The operating system in this device is Android 5.0 better known as Lollipop.
