Samsung Galaxy Nexus is all set to be sold by Verizon Wireless on a price tag decided to be later.

About the Phone

The all new Galaxy Nexus is based on the new Android 4.0 “Ice cream Sandwich” Operating System is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. It is no surprise that Verizon would be the first U.S carrier. Talking about its technical specifications, the 4G LTE/HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus smartphone has a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen. It is supported by a 1750 mAh battery and supports dual cameras as well.

About its Release

Though the partners shown their commitment to launch this gadget in November, it was not revealed as in who would bring the Smartphone in States or in other countries. What makes Ice Cream Sandwich operating system different is the fact that has the holographic user interface, Face Unlock which is an application used for facial detection to let users access their phones.

Android Beam

Apart from the features outlines above, there is software navigation from Android “Honeycomb” tablet interface, there is Android beam with which users can share Youtube videos in no time with their friends by tapping ICS phones together and users can share web pages easily.
