The Amazon Cloud Player, which broke into the cloud-based mp3 scene before Apple iTunes, Google, or Microsoft, now looks like it works with iOS devices. The concept is great: all your music located in one place and playable from anywhere. I can’t wait to get something like that connected to my car too.
There have been some legal issues, as some music industry execs were surprised by the release of the product and some changed may happen in the near future. But Amazon is definitely a player (maybe the only player) in the cloud-based music space.
Now that the cloud player works on your iPhone and iPad, will it be a game changer and hurt Apple?
