BlackBerry now Opens up BlackBerry Messenger Beta for Users of Windows Phone

The company, however, is planning to return with a bang. This time, this Canadian Telecommunication business, which has painstakingly built its reputation as reliable software provider for mobile gadgets, is coming up with a software program that can be used on multiple platforms including Android and iOS based devices.

About BlackBerry Messenger

The software that is making news is the BlackBerry Messenger or BBM. Its version for Android and iOS based devices was launched in the fall of 2013. Almost 40 million users have opted for it proving its popularity. Now, the company has come up with modified version of this for Windows phone and is launching it.

BBM app for Windows Phone versus BBM app for iOS/Android

There are many tiles, but there is a difference in looks between the two. The two BBM apps seem to be different. The company focuses on user-friendly programs, without compromising on simplicity and aesthetics. Signing in and signing up has become much simpler in the Windows Phone version. Likewise, adding contacts has become easier on BBM app of this OS. Users prefer customized features that they are already used to by now on their devices and BlackBerry facilitates such customized experience. Beta download of BBM for Windows Phone is already available in the market from July 10.

There is always room for more in software application segment for tablets, phablets, and smart phones. BlackBerry is on the right course with its multiple platform applications.
