Apple has felt the need to stay in line with its competitors in the tablet market, namely Google and Amazon who provide the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD, both having 7 inch displays.
Apple’s iPad Mini
Hence, Apple has come up with the iPad mini, the miniature version of its bigger sibling. While there were speculations that Apple would announce a new iPad on Wednesday along with the iPhone 5, all those hopes have been dashed due to a report tipping the release in October.
The French blog Nowhereelse has published a report showing leaked pictures of this new iPad. Although there have been no official confirmations from Apple as such, the trusted sources from media are speculating that this newer version of the gadget would flaunt a 7.85-inch screen and a thinner screen frame with resolution similar to iPad 2.
This blog allegedly got the photos from an Asian site DGtle.com. These photos show the iPad mini from all angles, thus showing off a rear camera along with a black Apple logo and the all too familiar “iPad” insignia. Though they are too blurry to judge the exact storage capacity of the device, they give a fair idea as to the size of the device.
