Panasonic is doing well on Tablet PCs market. Doesn’t beat with the first position occupied by iPad, but is the only laptop manufacturer with military standards and dedicated to working in hostile environments, high temperature, etc.
CF-H2 is a rugged tablet and ultra-light, ideal for workers on construction sites, railways, aviation, military, doctors etc. The tablet comes equipped with the new ULV Intel Core processor i5-2557M (1.7GHz) with Intel vPro and Intel HD 3000 graphics built and thus provide very good performance in multimedia activities.
Statistics say that offers 400% better performance than its predecessor. The tablet can run complex applications like AutoCad, GIS (Geographic Information System). Benefit from 2GB RAM (8GB maximum) and a hard disk up to 320GB with the option to install the 128GB SSD drive. Its OS will be Windows 7 at 32-bit. The tablet Toughbook CF-H2 can be used with one hand and weighs about 1.58Kg and is fitted with a handle. The screen has a diagonal of 10.1 inches and comes with Panasonic Plus technology, through which can be set the screen brightness.
H2 has advantage of the WLAN, 3G (optional), Bluetooth and GPS (optional) for navigation. Autonomy is about 6.5 hours. Featuring a magnesium alloy layer on the inside, CF-H2 was ranked as the most durable tablet PC on the market.
Panasonic Toughbook CF-H2 will be compatible with all peripherals and accessories inherited from H1. It will have 3 year warranty and will be available this month, July 2011.
