Previously, Samsung had announced a product that will suit students and this is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 2.0 Student Edition. This is actually a bundle product that is aimed more towards students and less towards the other markets in general. What is different between the Student Edition and the normal version is that you’ll be getting a keyboard dock as well as a USB connector for peripherals.
For those that are unaware of what the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 is all about, it is actually a 7-inch tablet that is powered with Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered with a 1GHz dual-core processor with a total storage of just 8GB. As far as the resolution is concerned, you are looking at 1024×600 and this isn’t anything special either as compared with the more expensive tablets. You’re not looking at a tablet that will be competing with the likes of the Nexus 7 but if you’re a student and is looking for a tablet, this might just work for you.
With this being said and done, you’re looking at one fully-functional tablet along with a keyboard dock. This makes it easier for those that have been doing a lot of typing and can do so better than they can tap.
