Samsung Series 7 Slate PC: Tablet powered by Windows 7

1

Usually whenever somebody speaks of a tablet, they are clouded idea of an Android powered slate or an iOS powered iPad. Rarely would there be a case of one that is powered by Windows 7 but Samsung Series 7 Slate PC is one that needs to be checked out even though it starts at a price of $1,099.

The Samsung Series 7 Slate PC features not an Intel Atom but rather a more powerful processor which is the Intel Core i5 processor instead. In addition to that, it also features a dock which allows the user to use a physical keyboard instead of the on-screen keyboard. In it is a 128GB SSD drive as well as a 4GB processor and an Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics card. Suffice to say, it isn’t the most powerful slate in the market and its meager battery life of roughly 3 hours can be a disappointment to many especially with the laptops comparable to its price can have an average of 5 hours easily.

In conclusion, the Samsung Series 7 Slate PC may not be the best of choice for all people because there are a lot of other tablets which could easily beat it and at a cheaper price as well, e.g ASUS Transformer Prime.
