We all know that Apple practically detests the idea of a stylus for its iPads. None of the iPads, including the yet-unannounced iPad 3, come with this apparatus. However, there is one company out there that is hell-bent on pushing the idea of manufacturing this accessory for the Apple iPad 3. This company, Pogo Sketch, is now said to be working on creating a pen intended to work on the iPad 3 (that is, when it finally does arrive in the market).
Apparently, Pogo Sketch has issued a press release on this project and has also codenamed this stylus, “Project Blue Tiger”. It is supposedly pressure-sensitive and would be able to pair with the said iPad model via Bluetooth 4.0.
The stylus is supposed to work with any app, just as a regular stylus would. It would also help with both writing and drawing on the iPad display screen. The user would be able to select the desired color from a color-control LED button. Further, changing the angle of the pen while holding it; would create lines, strokes and curves of different magnitude and thickness.
The drawing app, we have been informed, has thrown open its SDK to developers. Those interested to know more would do well to visit Ten One Design and download the SDK Beta as well.
Of course, all this innovation is nice to hear about, but would you really like the idea of using a stylus with your iPad 3? Let us know what you think about this.
