Although Microsoft has planned to bring the Start button back in its upcoming update-Windows 8.1 but the full Start Menu will not be there. It seems Lenovo has taken into consideration that how much Start Menu is missed by the Windows 8 consumers. So for satisfying the Windows 8 users signed deals with Pokki developer Sweetlabs for preloading Start Menu in the upcoming Windows 8 gadgets.
Lenovo’s Deal with Pokki Developer
On Thursday, SweetLabs has confirmed the news that almost all of the new devices of Lenovo will be preloaded with the complete Software Suite. The Windows 8 devices will include IdeaCenter models, IdeaPad, and the Think line of desktops. The step taken by Lenovo will make the Windows 7 and XP users more comfortable for working on the Windows 8 set ups.
Combination of Pokki Menu with the New Start Menu
In the upcoming Lenovo’s Windows 8 based devices, the Pokki Menu will combine with the Start Menu into a single user interface so that the users would be able to access the installed programs and the apps installed via Pokki application framework. The desktop apps can be installed through the Pokki’s App Store.
