The flagship model of the Samsung brand-the Samsung Galaxy S5- is expected to be unveiled this month. But it is hard to apprehend whether such features like a bigger screen will boost the sales in the competitive scenario.
“Samsung Unpacked 5”
Thus goes the invitations of “Samsung unpacked 5” scheduled to be held on February 24, at MWC in Barcelona. Three weeks following the unceremonious appearance of the S4, this gadget is supposed to compete with the likes of Apple Inc. and Chinese vendors.
As for the features, the S5 will be sporting an improved camera, biometric functions, iris recognition, and fingerprint scanner apart from the larger screen. Let’s not forget the Gear Smart watch also. The larger screen is being used to combat Apple devices that will be launched later this year. Samsung is entering European market too by joining hands with Carphone Warehouse retailer to launch around 60 stores in Europe. Apple on the other hand is expecting a better Chinese market since it has collaborated with the biggest mobile carrier in the world- Chinese Mobile.
We can also expect equal pomp and show as the launch of the S4 in this ‘unPacked’ event as well.
