The Fujifilm X-Pro1 is a great camera especially when compared with the other X-series camera such as the X100 and the X10. One of the many great features that are available on this camera is the possibility for the use of interchangeable lenses. While the X100 and the X10 comes with only a single lens, the same cannot be said with the X-Pro1.
There are currently only three lenses of the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and these are the 60mm f/2.4, 35mm f/1.4 and the 18mm f/2 lenses. For some, this may already be sufficient but if you notice, there is actually something missing and this is the lack of a zoom lens. To tackle and to please the X-Pro1 owner, Fujifilm has announced the roadmap of the lens that would fit to its X-Pro1 camera. Some of the lens that are in the roadmap includes the 18-55 f/2.8-4 standard zoom and 14mm f/2.8 lenses for this year.
For next year, five more lenses are expected to arrive into the market and this includes the 55-200 f/3.5-4.8, 10-24mm f/4 super wide zoom and a lot more. With this being said and done, by the end of 2013, 10 lenses is expected to be made available for the X-Pro1.
