The Canon 1Dx definitely wowed a lot of people with its tremendous specifications and improvements over its predecessors. In fact, when it is released, it will most probably the best camera that Canon has ever build so far. However, the rivalry between Canon and Nikon will never end and thus, a competitor for the 1Dx was created and it is called the Nikon D4.
The Nikon D4 is an improvement over its Nikon D3S which was released a couple of years ago. The D4 is another full-frame camera by Nikon although it features a 16.2 megapixels sensor. In addition to that, the ISO can be boost up to 204,000 with its Hi-4 ISO setting. As far as videos are concerned, it can shoot full HD video at 30 frames per second. As far as burst settings are concerned, it can shoot up to 10 fps although it isn’t as fast as the 1Dx at 14 fps.
The price tag for this behemoth is a whopping $5,999.95 and is due to be released on February 2012. Nikon fans will definitely rejoice for this as it is possible to use the current set of Nikon lenses as well as the new FX-format.
