Nikon has set photography enthusiasts crying in delight with the launch of its digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR), the Nikon D4 for professional high-end usage. Now another to-be-launched digital camera is hogging the limelight with the leaked thumbnail image of the Nikon D800. It is turning out as the next in the line of the professional DSLR cameras after this and the last leak back in November 2011.
No Official Word Yet
No official word has yet been known about the details, and specifications of the D800 and the pre-launch product page has not yet been published. And little has been given away by Nikon about the launch of the new Nikon camera although screenshots of the D800 has consolidated previous rumor and wishful conjectures about the DSLR camera.
Specs and Price
As of now, the D800 is expected to have almost three times the resolution of the sensors and a bigger display than the D700 that the pro-DSLR D800 Nikon camera will be replacing. It will feature 1080p/30/25/24 video recording with autofocus system. The only seemingly downside is of course the price. It comes at a staggering $6k and is set to become one of the most sought after gadgets.
