While we have yet to hear about Panasonic’s future offering which is the Panasonic Lumix GH3, a video on the company’s official YouTube page had revealed a bit about the new camera. As expected, the Panasonic Lumix GH3 will be a micro four-thirds camera. In fact, it is expected that the GH3 will be the company’s high-end offering for their range of micro four-thirds camera.
Inside the Lumix GH3 is a 16 megapixel sensor. In fact, it will be using the latest version of the company’s Venus Engine processor. With this being said and done, you are looking at a high-definition filming of up to 72Mbps. If that isn’t enough, you will also be looking at a frame rate of 60p. It has yet to be known whether the camera will support the full 1080p at that particular frame rate but if it does, expect it to be one of the few cameras in the world that have this setup.
As far as the color is concerned, it will be the normal black color that comes with most cameras today. For those that are curious about the video, you might be a bit disappointed knowing that the company had deleted it as the device has yet to be announced. However, Engadget still has a copy of it on their website.
