Software giant Microsoft has made its entry into Apple’s mobile operating system. The company has launched, Wordament, a new game for iPhone and iPad users making it the first ever game with X-box achievements for iOS.
Here is a look at it:
Wordament is a word finding game in real time that takes the form of 2-minute mini tournaments where players find out maximum words from a set board of 4×4 letters. Once downloaded, the game allows players to compete with others worldwide by logging in through their X-box, Skydrive, or Windows account. Logging through the X-box though, will give you the additional advantage of gaining 50 Gamescores. With the 10 in-game achievements and 50 Gamesscores, the Xbox account holders can get access to their Xbox friends.
Microsoft’s Plans for Future
The game has been launched from Microsoft’s gaming studio, You vs the Internet and has been a success on its Windows phone and Windows 8 gadgets. This is the company’s attempt to understand and plan for its gaming scenario on Apple’s Operating System. Wordament has been introduced in 7 international languages while the puzzle is available in 12 languages. This is undoubtedly Microsoft’s interesting move.
