Acer Aspire Timeline M5 Ultrabook

Acer Timeline notebooks are certainly one of the best of its kind due to the long battery life amongst many other things. The M5 made its debut at CES earlier this year but at that time, people assumed that it would fall under the mainstream computer. However, Acer classifies it as an Ultrabook but with added performance. This is because the Aspire Timeline M5 comes with both a dedicated graphics card and a DVD drive as well.
At only 0.81 inches thick, it definitely falls under the Ultrabook region and it also weighs around 4.1 pounds. Due to its slightly thicker profile, Acer managed to add in a DVD drive to the Aspire Timeline M5. As far as the processor is concerned, this device comes with an Intel Core i5-3317U processor running at a speed of 1.7GHz. Graphics wise, it has both an integrated graphics card and the NVIDIA GT640M LE 1GB discreet card. This means that users can have the best of both worlds at the same time.
As far as the price is concerned, it is rather affordable since it starts at a price tag of just $680 while the highest end would cost around $830. Add an optional SSD and you’ll be looking at a rather fast performing computer as well.
