Last year Acer entered into the arena of 8-inch Windows tablets, but its offerings were not up-to-the mark. Now Acer has given a tough competition to Lenovo this year during the press conference of IFA, by revealing its two convertible laptops- Acer Aspire R13 and R14.
Acer Aspire R13
This device is very much inspired by the last years Aspire R7 model but now the company has omitted the placement of the trackpad just above the keyboard. This Acer gadgethas got Ezel Aero Hinge, which allows the Aspire R13 to perform in six types of modes. Some of the modes are “tent mode.”
And “pad mode” while the “stand mode” can be used like a normal laptop. Moreover the device will also come with an Active pen of Microsoft Surface style. Other specs are 13.3 inch screen, Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and resolution up to 1920X1080 pi.
Acer Aspire R14
Having a 360 degrees hinge, this is treading in the same line as Lenovo Yoga. This has got a somewhat larger screen of 14 inches and its resolution is 1366x768pi. The versions of the Intel core processors can be chosen as per your need and it also showcase 820M graphics and hard drives of 500GB/1TB.
However, to make its presence bigger Acer is also planning to unveil some other devices like Acer Iconia 8W in the IFA.
