Dell XPS 13
The hardware specs of the Linux XPS 13 have not been released yet, but it is naturally expected to be the same as that of the original XPS 13- Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM, naturally an SSD, and the 1366 x 768 resolution 13.3 inch screen.
Catering to Linux users on an Ultrabook is a difficult task in itself and more difficult is satisfying the developer audience that the Sputnik project targets with the developer friendly XPS 13 Ultrabooks. Hardware improvement and enabling open drivers for the hardware will go a long way in ensuring a superb Linux environment because that ensures long-term support for the hardware components. The software components will be typical developer friendly with useful tools, which even can automate cloud service installation tools and integrated development environment.
