A forum post on Chinese website Weiphone displays an image of the specification sheet of the to-be-launched update to the 13-inch Macbook laptop product line. Previously Bloomberg and later 9to5Mac has reported rumors about the expected release of new Macbooks at the Worldwide Developers Conference to be held soon.
The Specs List
The gadget will feature a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 dual core processor in place of the 2.4 GHz processor currently used on the 13-inch model. Now the laptop will feature Bluetooth 4.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. The RAM and hard disk drive configurations are as thought before. There is also the optical 8X SuperDrive DVD RW drive is also on the cards. Sure enough, the Thunderbolt port does not miss the bus here.
The rumors surfaced in Bloomberg earlier in the month claimed that the new Macbook Pros will have Flash memory drives, will have retina displays, and will be sleeker. Nevertheless, the leaks have rather contradicted these earlier speculations and rumors. All the while, Apple has not commented on the new release of the Macbook Pros and did not respond to the claims that they would be released at the Worldwide Developers Conference next week.
