AT&T LTE network has been around for quite some time but there aren’t many mobile phones being supported at the moment. With speeds up to 10 times faster than normal 3G speed, there aren’t many phones that have LTE capability. AT&T had tried to add in HSPA+ technology in the 4G network as those are supported by a lot of phones but the AT&T 4G LTE network has only 3 devices being officially supported including the AT&T Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
The Galaxy S II Skyrocket has a slightly larger screen which is at 4.5-inches as compared with the Samsung Galaxy S II counterpart. In addition to that, AT&T also added 4G LTE support to the Skyrocket as well which means that the speed on this device is tremendously fast as well thanks to the 4G LTE network.
Other technical specification includes a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and a Super AMOLED Plus screen, an 8 megapixel camera capable of recording full HD videos as well as a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling purposes.
The AT&T Galaxy S II Skyrocket is currently available on a 2 years contract at a price of only $250. Suffice to say, it is simply better than its original counterpart in a lot of ways.
