Capture 3D pictures on standard 2D camera with Sony’s new Xperia phone


Unveiled at IFA technology fair in Berlin, Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc S has become a big hit. You can expect Sony’s Smartphone that can take 3D panoramic photos to be available for sale.

Whereas the pictures taken by Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc S can be watched on a compatible television set but in 2 dimensions and not 3D. For 3D output, you need to have a 3D TV with HDMI output.

The fair also had other hit events including Toshiba’s claim for its first glasses-free 3D television although there are mixed reviews about 55ZL2. LG demonstrated glasses-free 3D computer.

Features of Sony Xperia Arc S

The Smartphone comes in 4.2 inch screen with 8.1 megapixels camera definition. The camera can take panoramic i.e. 3D pictures, which makes this Smartphone one of its kinds.  Google’s Android 2.3 is the operating system installed in it which enables faster web browsing.

With 1.4GHz processor Sony claims it to be 25 percent faster than its predecessor gadget. It features Sony’s music and video unlimited media stores and doubles as a remote control for Sony Bravia TVs. Sony said, Arc S will be available in five colors namely white, silver, blue, black and pink.
