LG releases new Optimus smartphone: Optimus Vu

Ever since the device was shown at the CES 2012 earlier this year, LG can’t help but to deliver their Optimus Vu device as soon as possible. This is because the LG Optimus Vu is definitely one of the early competitors for Samsung’s hybrid tablet-smartphone device, the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Rumors had it that the Optimus Vu would be equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and after so long, LG had confirmed that it does use the said processor. In addition to that, it also comes with a 5 inch IPS display which is also set to challenge the Galaxy Note. The screen itself is stylus friendly which means that users can take notes as easily as the said competitor as well.

In addition to all of these mentioned before, the LG Optimus Vu also comes with a 32GB internal memory with 1GB RAM to power its Android operating system as well. An 8MP camera along with a 1.3 front-facing camera is also available It should also worth mentioning that the device is LTE capable which would be good in places where such network is covered.

No price is stated for this device although it is expected to be somewhere around the same price as the Galaxy Note.
