Facebook to Allow App-Monetization Through Carrier

There are a lot of ways on which you can use to monetize from your application. Most of it includes credit card payments or processors such as Paypal. There are also methods such as in-app billing as well as those that requires the user to go to the developer’s home page. Whatever it may be, you can be sure that when you create an application, you will not have a hard time getting a way to monetize it.

For some developers, Facebook was known to be a bad region especially when it comes to monetization but it has improved itself bit by bit. In fact, due to Facebook going public, the company is bound to take actions on things that would make them money and this includes app monetization. That is why Facebook is now allowing another method of app-monetization and this is though the carrier that the user is subscribing to.

This method of payment is available only in the United States and the United Kingdom. Almost all of the networks are supported as of date. However, only a few applications have made use of this monetization method and this includes SkyScraper City. With this being said and done, it may be good for both the developer and the customer as well.
