HTC One Finally Rolls Out Android 4.2.2 Update


After delaying for a long time, HTC One has been finally updated with the Android version 4.2.2. With officially rolling out Android 4.2.2 update HTC has fixed on of the biggest complaints. Last week, Android 4.2.2 update, was available for the Taiwanese HTC users so now this week this latest software is being updated for the HTC owners belonging to Europe.

Availability of Free Update

Android 4.2.2 update for HTC One gadget is now available OTA for free of cost after downloading a small bug fix firstly as it will allow you to know the update. According to reports, presently update will be available for the Scandinavian countries, but in the due course of time the update will be hitting the rest of the Europe also. However, UK is also waiting for the 417 MB update.

What is the Update About?

This major update will be including new Android operating system features, such as, enhancements in the launcher bar, newly looking screen style, widget panel arrangement and a better behaving home button. Moreover, the ‘black bar’ problem has also been fixed which was earlier occupying the full-width of the on-screen menu.

With the Android 4.2.2 update users would be able to manage to with long and short taps for opening the menu.
