HTC is all set to create waves in the market, yet again. The company has now announced that its HTC One S will be available starting April 25th, via T-Mobile. Many of you may recall that this handset was initially displayed at the Mobile World Congress 2012. Now it will be sold both online and in retail stores, so you can choose your pick.
This wonderful handset will come at a price of $199, along with a new 2-year service contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. If you would much rather go contract-free, you will have to cough up $599 for the smartphone. Yes, we all know HTC does not come cheap! Anyways, no one is complaining, consider the sheer quality of these phones, right, guys?
For those not in the know, the HTC One S comes with the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense UI 4.0, 4.3-inch AMOLED display, the T-Mobile HSPA+ 4G, an 8MP camera and 16GB internal storage.
New Cases for HTC One X
In the meantime, HTC is also busy showing off some new possible case designs of its One X smartphone. These zany cases, as you will see in the image below, are quite different from the usual boring white or black. While they offer many more color options, they also protect the phone from damage.
At the moment, HTC demoed these cases in orange and blue, but said they would soon introduce yet more color choices. These new cases will be made of durable plastic and will perfectly fit the One X’s polycarbonate outer shell.
There is yet no information about the pricing or availability of these cases. In any case, HTC One X owners can expect to change the “personality” of their phones soon!
