An HTC One X update will upgrade the Ice Cream Sandwich to Android version 4.04, and the HTC Sense UI has been improved, as well. The updates would be rolled out now in the UK while the other regions will have to wait a bit longer for mobility.
The 4.04 ICS Update
The Android 4.0 has been updated to version 4.04 in the HTC One X while the Sense interface has been tweaked- menu function has been mapped in the Recent App key. The overall visual presentation of the Facebook app and improved tab usage with browsers has also gotten better.
Another important update with Facebook is that once you login from any app or browser you will be signed in on all apps. The camera white balance and continuous autofocus mode have also gotten better. The Beats Audio software has also been improved.
Jelly Bean Promised
The smallish update was a bit of a disappointment of sorts because many expected the update to be Jelly Bean. However, the fantastic news is that HTC has confirmed the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the One series of gadgets- One X, One S and One XL.
