Orange is ready to launch its new Santa Clara with Intel atom Z2460 – processor inside it. The name is only coded form; there is a lot to come. The details of this smartphone will be disclosed when this gadget will be launched.
Features of the new Santa Clara will compete with other smartphones in terms of performance
This Intel’s device will be featuring 4.3 inches touchscreen – display. This will also support HSPA+ courtesy form Intel XMM 6260 – technology. The Santa Clara will measure 123mm x 63mm x 9.99mm with 8 MP of camera. This camera will have ten frames- per second burst- mode. It is also provided with 16 GB of internal storage and weighs 117 g.
This new gadget will run Android 2.3, and there is no air of competition with apple iPhone, on the other hand, Intel’s partnership with Motorola is going to launch some expensive gadgets.
A source said that this gadget might compete in performance wise & battery life with other smartphones in the market. It is also heard that the overall cost of this product would be reduced in order to attract more customers.
Release time announced
The Santa Clara would be available only in France and United Kingdom. It will be released in summer and its official name would be revealed.
