LG Returning to its Windows Phone with Verizon’s LG Lancet


LG LancetHere is fantastic news for the LG lovers that after waiting for a longer time finally, LG is launching it’s Windows Phone. LG Lancet- the first handset of LG to be initiated by Verizon, which will run on Windows Phone 8.1. Long back in 2010, LG created its headset for the Windows Phone 7.

Running on Windows 8.1

Windows 8 version was skipped at that time and it was thought that LG would never return back to the mobile software from Microsoft. However, LG Lancet will be running on the Windows 8.1 version and thus skipping the Windows 8 version. Although, it was thought LG’s new launch would be similar to G4, the phone launched now would have been expected five years back.


The device has got FWVGA display (854* 480) on the 4.5-inch screen of Lancet. The storage capacity is of 8 GB and it has a 1.2 GHz Quad- core processor. This phone has a rear camera of 8 megapixels and VGA front camera and it is the first Windows gadget by LG that support HD voice calling which makes it unique.

Overall LG Lancet is the best example of the affordable device within the budget!
