LG’s G3 Beat to have 5 inch Screen and Sophisticated Laser Camera


LG G3 BeatsLG has plans to launch a new LG G3 on July 18th, 2014. Initially, the device would only be released in South Korea, and thereafter in Europe, followed by rest of the world. These gadgets include several sophisticated features within the body frame of 10.3mm x69.6mm x 137.7 mm which would weigh merely 134g.


For starters, LG G3 Beat would have display screen of 5 inches. The resolution of this screen would be 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. Effectively, the density of pixels in these devices would be 294. The other desirable feature included in G3 Beat is the AF Laser camera.  There is a sensor at the back of this camera which employs a laser beam for measuring the distances so that the speed in the device’s autofocus camera is adjusted accordingly. In addition to this sensor G3 Beat also has another sensor of 8MP. The flash included in the camera is LED flash.


The device comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset (400). The processor in this device is quad-core A7 Cortex-A-7. It has a speed of 1.2GHz. Apart from this the device also includes Adreno 305 GPU. Internal storage memory in this device is 8GB. Device owners can opt for microSD card as well. The RAM of this device is 1 GB. The operating system in this device is Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). In so far as connectivity is concerned, these gadgets offer almost all latest options such Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC, and Glonass with A-GPS. The battery in this device can be removed and replaced. It is a 2,540mAh battery.

LG G3 Beat has a smaller screen when compared to its predecessor, which had a screen of 5.5 inches. Apart from this, the pixel density is also lower from the previous LG G3, which had pixel density of 534. But other specifications are attractive enough to make people opt for the device. Pricing will swing the market towards or against the product, and as yet, LG is keeping mum on that.
