Initially the release date of Motorola Droid Maxx and Droid Ultra seemed to be delayed but recently some news are reporting that both the gadgets are arriving to the customers ahead of the 20 August release date. A bit of the controversy was there earlier this week about the two new versions of the Verizon’s based smartphones from the Motorola as manufacturer.
Pre-ordered Devices Received ahead of Release Date
The confusion about the delaying of the release date arose due to the shipping label found on the devices showed the ship by dates as 27 August. This caused the customers to suspect a delay for the devices being shipped to them.
In-store Availability of the Devices
Lately, Verizon clarified that the smartphones will be available to the customers those who have pre-ordered the Droid Maxx and Droid Ultra would definitely receive their phones on 20 August. Moreover, the phones will also hit the shelves of the stores on the August 20. However, some of the buyers could receive the pre-ordered phones a day earlier on 19 August.
The Droid Maxx is priced at $299 while Droid Ultra has a price tag of $199.
