Though this is yet to be officially confirmed by Samsung, gadgets world now knows that it is not Galaxy Grand 3 that the company intends to launch in India sometime soon. There was an official invitation that referred to the product to be introduced as a device that is “already making waves internationally”. Since Galaxy Grand 3 is nowhere in the International scenario, it apparently means the other product, i.e., Galaxy Grand Max, unless Samsung India has something up its sleeve which the snoopy journalists have failed to discover.
Features of Galaxy Grand Max include a display of 5.25 inch screen which is IPS display. This display has a resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. The device is one of the slimmest ones around for such power-packed version since it is merely 7.9mm in thickness. It weighs 161 gms. The rear panel of this device has a pattern that is new. Its 13 MP camera is impressive and completely overshadows the 5MP camera on the front. Video recording is possible with both these cameras. Such recording would be full HD recording. Grand Max is equipped for 4G connectivity though it is not certain whether it would be good enough for Indian 4G spectrum.
The OS in Samsung’s Galaxy Grand Max is Android 4.4. It includes quad-core processor, i.e., Snapdragon 410. The speed of this processor is 1.2 GHz. The device also has a higher RAM. Apart from this 1.5B RAM, the device also has storage memory of 16 GB. A microSD slot has also been provided for extending the memory. The battery forming integral part of the device is 2,500mAh. Its superior connectivity makes it suitable for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi Direct, radio, as well as GPS.
There is not much left to guess following that statement from Samsung. It would indeed be a surprise if the device that the company intends to launch is different because most of the people are not expecting anything other than Galaxy Grand Max.
