Good news for Sony Ericsson fans as the company has recently managed a comeback in the Nigerian mobile gadget market.
Flooding the Market with Sophisticated Mobile Phones
This time, they have unveiled a series of mobile phones which Sony tagged with the experience of Xperia. The range of phones is available in different models including entertainment tools and digital devices for communication so that users can go with the one they desire. Few years back, the company suffered a down time as it lost touch with market realities but at the same time; they strengthened its hold in the Africa’s biggest market.
Company is planning to target 20-30 percent share
All the phones are driven by Google Android operating system and the company is planning to target around 20-30 percent of its market share in the next two to three years. The company says; they are trying their level best to provide what the customers want and come back with the desired results. Sony Ericsson’s Marketing Manager, Younes Cherkaoui said; company’s motive is to increase the market value of the company from 6-7% to 10% in few months time. They are working with future media and local agencies in Nigeria so as to bring the products close to people.
