Everybody knows that batteries in smartphones just don’t seem to last enough. The problem is acuter in low-end smartphones. A couple of phone calls and the phone would need to be charged again. Sony has chosen to target this market with its Xperia E4. This budget smartphone has a battery in it that can hold a charge that will last for two days.
Features of Sony Xperia E4
The major difference between Xperia E3 and Xperia E4 is, of course, the battery life. The battery in it is the 2,300 mAH, which is not common in budget smartphones. In addition, this Sony Xperia product offers ample scope for customizing the product as needed. There is the migration tool too called Xperia Transfer. This one is capable of retrieving and storing information from iOS or Android-based smartphones. Sharing some information amongst a group has also become easier with the new product.
Sony Xperia 4 has a different CPU in it than the previous models. Sony has opted for MediaTek Mt6582, which itself is a huge step. This is basically a quad-core processor, with speed of 1.3 GHz. In the previous model, the company had used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400, which had the speed of 1.2 GHz. The internal storage in this device is 8 GB, even though it has a RAM of merely 1 GB. Sony has opted for Android 4.4.4 which is not the latest Android software. Nevertheless, it is useful for many purposes.
Sony has hit the bull’s eye with this product because the market it is targeting is large indeed. Secondly more battery life is just what doctor ordered. This means it will encroach upon market share of its competitors in the same segment. Gadgets world would, of course, appreciate the product.
