Recent reports have acclaimed that soon new Apple iPads-iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 3 are going to hit the market and probably the date for this event is October 16. With the other things unveiling alongside will be OS X Yosemite and iMac computers. The reports are denying the rumors circulated of these gadgets being unveiled on Oct. 21 in the event.
About the Event
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus arrived in the market with much pomp and show, but this event would be a simpler one planned at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium. However, the event will also showcase Apple’s new Operating system- OS X Yosemite, which is made for iMacs and Macbook computers.
Features of iPads
The reports are telling that the iPads will be highlighting the Touch ID fingerprint sensor with which only specific people will be able to access the tablets. The tablets would be well equipped with an NFC chip and featuring Apple Pay. With the Apple’s mobile payment system- Apple Pay will also be going to be launched in the Oct 16 event; however, informally its announcement was made in iPhone event held in September.
By launching iPads before, the holiday season, Apple is trying to boost up the fewer sales in the next quarter as the second quarter could make up only 13.3 million units.
