iPad 3 was launched today to a record breaking reception around the world. Apple stores opened with the new iPads in the US, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK. There has been an enormous online pre-order volume, and the stores are expected to have long queues.
Walmart 24 hour stores opened at midnight in the US with limited stock of the iPad 3 models- about 8 hours before the Apple retail stores opened with the new gadgets. Best Buy, Target, Radio Shack, and Sam’s Club also offer the new Apple tablet- the only thing that bothers is how much stock they have. Even wireless carrier giants, AT&T and Verizon, will also offer the iPads in their outlets.
The supplies are said to be limited due to the lower than expected amounts of Retina display panels in the supply chain of the iPad 3. The new iPad has hit the sky with its magnificent retina screen, improved quad core A5X processor, camera with HD recording and Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity options. Experts are of the opinion that Apple will sell more than 1 million iPad tablets on the opening day.
