We have covered quite a bit previously about the BlackBerry PlayBook but it was mostly rumors. As the product was made available recently, a few people had tried the BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE and with a lot of good reviews as well. First and foremost, you won’t find any difference between the current PlayBook and the previous one because it looks its almost the same, with the addition of a microSIM slot at the bottom.
What is different about the BlackBerry PlayBook however is in its operating system because it is running the PlayBook OS 2.0. As usual, you can run a lot of Android applications on the PlayBook. If you’re looking for a hotspot solution, then you might as well look away because there is no option of creating a hotspot based on the 4G LTE connection. As far as the screen is concerned, it is still of the same size and the same 1024×600 resolution as well.
The processor which is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor by TI and this is a very noticeable improvement as compared with the old 1GHz processor. At a price of $550 contract-free, it may be a bit expensive but if you have always been a BlackBerry fan, then you might as well give this tablet a try.
