Dell is preparing a tablet with Core i5


Dell Peju, or Latitude ST, is a tablet with an Intel Core i5 and 10-inch screen, which we can admire the interface of the Windows 7, or why not maybe Windows 8, when it becomes available.

From the list of specifications worth for a laptop around the power of the word we find that the screen provided by the new tablet natively supports the FullHD resolution, immediately became interesting choice for film fans.  The configuration consists of an Intel Core i5, equipped with GMA HD series graphics interface, and has in the composition 4 GB RAM and SSD devices with capacity of 64 GB or 120 GB.

Above the screen we have a 1.3 MP camera for video calls, and at the back is a 5 megapixel camera to capture pictures and video. If we are not satisfied with the screen size, we can watch movies on the screen of a LCD TV connected via HDMI, or on a monitor attached on mini-VGA connectivity. Internet access is provided by Wi-Fi N network interface, and depending on the model we could also get a 3G or 4G modem.

As we would expect from a tablet with Core i5, Dell Peju is thicker and heavier than most tablets with Google Android platform. In its case with a thickness of 1.6 cm, weighing 860 grams is housed a battery of 5500 mAh Li-Ion, which promises a range of about 6 hours.

Peju Dell is expected for release in October. As for prices, we expect a minimum of $ 1,000 for the base model, and then increased depending on the equipment.
