HP Ready to Ship HP’s 7 Plus Tablet Costing Less Than $100


HP 7 PlusThere is good news for tech savvy people who have so far not been able to purchase a tablet because of price tag. HP just introduced a new tablet, i.e., the HP 7 Plus. It will cost just $99.99. It is a good device for beginners.

Features and Specifications

The speed of its processor is 1 GHz. The device comes with a 7 inch display which has 1024 by 600 pixel resolution.  The rear camera in the device is of 2 MP whereas the front camera is of 0.2 megapixels. HP 7 Plus comes with 1 GB RAM apart for internal storage of 8 GB.  It also has a slot for microSD card for expanding this memory as is the norm these days. It uses Android 4.2.2 version of Jelly Bean. The company is offering lifetime storage of 25 GB on cloud if the device is purchased from its website. In addition, such buyer would also receive free office software, i.e., Kingsoft and Box, necessary for using cloud computing.

What is missing?

What the device lacks is the sharp images that iPad Air offers. It is also not light like the Xperia Z2 from Sony. People familiar with Surface Pro 3 would surely be better off looking for other gadgets as this device would not support it. But this quad-core tablet can also do several things that some of the previous expensive tablets are not able to do. Prices of tablets are bound to crash in the near future considering the quality products that HP launches.
