Lenovo had unveiled the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga at the CES held earlier in the year at Las Vegas. Now it seems that the Windows 8 tablet will arrive just about the same time as the launch of the Widows 8 scheduled in the last week of October just two months away now.
Inside IdeaPad Yoga
The notebook tablet hybrid has a 13.1-inch screen that can swivel around to become a tablet that uses the touch Metro User Interface (now called Windows 8 UI). Weighing only 1.47kg and, with a slime profile going to a maximum thickness of 16.9mm, the tablet laptop is highly portable. It has a 256 GB solid-state drive and 8 GB RAM.
Both Intel and ARM Here too
If speculations are to be believed, then the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga will appear in both Intel and ARM processor version just like Microsoft’s Surface tablets. The Intel version is a sure thing but the ARM Windows RT version will be more tablet friendly with more battery life and portability according to ABC sources. ABC says that it has confirmed information that the Windows 8 RT gadgets are a go and will be in the radar well soon.
