Leaked news suggests that there is an ongoing frantic `war of the smartphones’ between mobile technology giants Apple, Nokia, and Samsung for the upcoming new version smartphones. The latest to join the bandwagon is LG Electronics with its in-the-stage-development mobile gadget. LG is planning to introduce a modern version of its forthcoming smartphone model with Qualcomm’s latest chip.
Upcoming LG smartphone
LG Electronics has officially announced the making of a new era smartphone, which will incorporate Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor. This mobile device will also accommodate various LG modules produced from its various branches. The in-house company division comprising of LG’s Chem, Display, and Innotek creates the components, which include the battery, panel, and touch screen attributes.
Pros and Cons
It is noted that the battery life of this yet-to-be-released LG smartphone will be superior to the existing comparable ones with a life period of 800 recharge cycles. Putting on view a 4.7-inch display, this smartphone will consume lesser power than AMOLED screens with 1280 x 768 pixels strength. Few gadgets are also on the cards are the 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) features.
